| How it works Your “bearly” used merchandise is taken in Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00pm. There is no need to make an appointment! We will discus your selling options with you, if we have time we will look at your items and finalize the selling/buying process. If we do not have time while you are there or you have chosen to do a “Drop & Run” we will call you within 72 hours to make an offer or give you your consignor number. We will purchase “bearly” used brands like: Baby Gap, Gymboree, Carters, Ralph Lauren, Baby Lulu, Baby Nay, Little Mass, Heartstrings, Tea, OshKosh, Children's Place, Mudd, LEI, Abercrombie, Hollister, Gap Kids, Limited Too and all other Mall brands also boutique labels too! Our Maternity favorites are Motherhood, MiMi, Colleen Conrad, Steena, Dan Howard, Gap, Olian, Japanese Weekend, Michael Stars, Meet me in Miami, and more. We will also buy your “bearly” used baby equipment, furniture and toys. We really like brands such as: Fisher Price, Safety First, Little Tikes, Playskool, Baby Einstein, Leap Frog, V-Tech, Graco, Century, Baby Trend, Costco, EvenFlo, Peg Perego, Maclaren, Child Craft, Simmons - to name just a few! Here are a few simple guidelines to follow when preparing your items. Please read carefully, as this is your key to making the most $$$$$$ |
| MOST IMPORTANT All clothing must be current name brand styles no more than 2 years old. All clothing must be freshly laundered within 3 days of bringing it to us. We will not accept clothing that smells like smoke, appears dirty, smells musty, or contains pet hair. We are very strict about this policy. Please lay clothing FLAT in a laundry basket or plastic bin box. Please Limit the amount you bring in to 2 Totes at a time (more may be accepted at a later date) We do not accept clothing in trash bags. Trash comes in trash bags. You must lay your clothing flat, pair all sets together, please button and snap everything and remove items with stains, damage, and excessive wear. Please understand it takes a lot of time to sort thru each container. Equipment, furniture and toys should be very clean in excellent condition and working properly (dig out those manuals if you've got them!) Equipment and toys must have working batteries and contain all original parts. Presentation is everything. The cleaner, fresher, and nicer it is, the more it's worth for you! Of course we have to be a bit picky but that's what makes our store so great! No searching through the store to find something nice – everything at T.D.Bearz is clean and in excellent condition! Please do not take offense if we do not select some of your items. Our staff must rely on past and present experience to determine what will sell at our store. What Will I Get Paid? We are honest about how much money we pay for items. For most clothing and toys, we pay you 25% of what we think we will end up selling them for. Here is an example of our Buy Outright procedure for equipment: Mrs. Bearz brings her excellent condition stroller for us to purchase. We examine the item and find the model sticker which tells us it is 1 year old. We check the model for possible recalls. If there are no recalls, we look online and find that the stroller's current retail price is $79.99. We typically sell equipment for half of current retail. This means we would HOPE to sell the stroller for $40.00 if the condition is EXCELLENT. We inform Mrs. Bearz that we can give her $10.00 cash for her stroller. She decides $10.00 is great and is thankful she doesn't have to put an ad in the paper. Mrs. Bearz goes home to gather the rest of her no-longer-needed baby equipment. She brings it to us and we pay her cash using the same procedure! |
